The People Behind Scanalyser:We're not exactly on a par with Microsoft in terms of our levels of resourcing but we are enthusiastic and have exacting standards and ideals. In fact it is those high standards that caused Scanalyser software to be written in the first place - because there was no other reasonably priced software out there that offered the functionality and flexibility required and was easy to use. The Scanalyser software is the brain child of Calvin who has expertly undertaken the development work too. Calvin is a time served electronics engineer having worked in a variety of different industries from textiles to automotive and having registered more patents than I care to remember. He is as happy soldering components as he is writing in assembly language, although he tends to use higher level programming languages for projects such as Scanalyser! I, Austen, am an engineer too (manufacturing) and have been helping out with the testing of Scanalyser and offering ideas for further development. I also have various qualifications and quite a bit of experience in online marketing and so I am looking after the 'selling' side of the project. Calvin and I first met when we were working together at a Yorkshire-based software house and consultancy in 1999 and have been good friends but keen badminton adversaries ever since! There's only the two of us so obviously we can't cover all bases (not all the time anyway!) so if you want to help out or you have any ideas then please do get in touch.
